Taco Cabana will flame-grill more than 30,000 chicken breasts to create more than 60,000 chicken fajita tacos to give away to guests Tuesday, Oct. 2. The party is from 5-8 p.m., and Taco Cabana says it plans to give away more tacos this year than last.
Todd Coerver, interim chief operating officer at Taco Cabana says, “Our chicken fajita tacos are made with flame-grilled, all-white chicken breast and fresh-made flour tortillas. Last year we gave out 60,000 tacos for National Taco Day, and this year we’re planning for an even bigger turnout.”
The free taco day event invites guests to receive one free chicken fajita taco per person, while supplies last, at participating Taco Cabana locations. No purchase is necessary.
Guests can top off their taco at the complimentary salsa bar, where choices include a variety of handmade salsas, jalapeños, chopped onions and fresh cut limes. Guests visiting in celebration of Free Taco Day will also receive a “Two Can Dine for $9.99” coupon for a later visit.
The free taco day event runs through Taco Cabana’s weekday happy hour (4 to 7 p.m.), featuring $1.50 domestics and tequila margaritas, as well as $1.50 off the listed price of all nachos.
