Tost Bistro & Bar, 14415 Blanco Road, has introduced a new series of dishes that are perfect for these hot days, ranging from crab summer rolls to a New York strip.

The new lineup includes grilled watermelon and cucumber salad, goat cheese, avocado cream and orange ($7);  seared crab summer roll, pickled vegetable, spicy red pepper sauce ($11); seared scallops, roasted gazpacho puree, avocado crème fraiche, cilantro ($11);  roast chicken, cornbread pudding, mushrooms, sherry sauce ($15);  braised beef, mushrooms, roasted carrots, mash potato, jus ($19); and  New York strip, truffle fries, chimichurri sauce ($19).

The restaurant is now offering several other appetizing specials:

• 15 wines are now available for $15 a bottle.
•  On Tuesdays, enjoy a five-course tasting menu  for $25.
• Happy hour is from 4 p.m. to midnight with  drink specials. The bar menu is discounted until 8 p.m.
